This Square Grid Honeycomb Studio (also known as an Egg-Crate) is designed for use with the PiXAPRO VNIX1500 series LED Light Panels. It can be used to restrict the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas that you don’t want the light to fall, such as on the background when you are shooting a low-key image.

Lens Flare Reduction

Square Honeycomb Grids can also be used to help prevent you from getting lens flare when you are backlighting or rim lighting your subject (If shooting with the light pointed back towards the camera, we also recommend using a Lens hood).
